In-Tank Refugium?
Now that I`ve upgraded my lighting, algae growth has boomed. Surprise
,Surprise  Ive been avoiding the sump/refugium thing because of the risk of flood (I am no plumber!). Would hanging a 16" X 4" X 4" box stuffed with Chaeto on the INSIDE of my 65 gallon tank be effective in reducing nuisance algae in the rest of the tank? My logic, newbie as it is,tells me it would---but set me straight. Give me some pros and cons. Thanks again. PS: a couple of small starfish have emerged in the tank---too cool.
