I hope you are not a Parent.

Your (bobandcarole's) mistake in logic and judgment, is that you put too
much importance on others fitting in with your own values and culture
(i.e. those of the Politically Correct Majority). For example, on
another thread you stated that a particular adult child sexual
relationship was "Wrong", while in fact it is only wrong if one of the
two participants then or later believe it was wrong. It is not
automatically wrong simply because it doesn't fit into your view of
"Normal".

If instead your argument was "there will surly be major problems that
can best be avoided by not ever having such a relationship" then you
might have a defendable position, and we could have a reasonable
discussion as to the potential problems.

The difference between you and I, though, is the fact that while I may
concede that specific problems that you might mention do exist, I would
still have those relationships but being extra careful to avoid those
specific problems. The reason is I am already very aware of the real
problems for the child later in life caused from NOT having pleasant
sexual experiences during the formative years.

In other words, Jennie would probably make an excellent parent but guess
what, she wouldn't raise her children according to YOUR standards. And
of course the real test is: will those children when they grow up also
want to raise their own children that way too?
