Default Preparing beef heart

Staring my venture into preparing my own foods, got myself a big beef heart,
and a pack of knox geletin. So now I star at it wondering what to do.

I'm thinking I cut the heart into slices, trim the fat/veins, etc. Toss into
a blender, mulch it up a bit, add a bit of water and geletin, and put into
ice cube trays.

How's that sound? Pretty close to what the store stuff is? (Probably better
from what I heard...fish food suppliers using "dead" meat, rather than
slaughtered meat.)
