But I really only meant if there were other fish in the tank, that is why I asked if it had other animals. If it is a crawfish only tank then there would be no problems. But if there are small fish they would be caught and killed. Not offended, no problemo. I was probably more set off by the use of the word "good" more than anything else. In my opinion, "good" and "bad" are the most improperly used words in our language. Case in point; you meant to say a crawfish isn't an appropriate companion for fish, it will eat them. This is very true. That's why we ended up with a crawdad only tank! The crawdad wasn't being bad, however. He was just eating.  steve
