... I've recently noticed a creature on my live rock. It seems to be nocturnal and sort of looks like a leach. It has browish and white stripes. He crawls for cover when the lights come on. Any ideas on what this is? Is it harmful? Should I get it out of my tank next time I see it? Thanks! Maddie If it's orange and red, and looks like it has bristles, it's probably a bristle worm. Good detrivore, cleans up bottom of tank. Not a pest unless you get too many, and that's usually from overfeeding. X |

Thanks guys. It doesn't have bristles though. It's smooth and a lot wider
than a worm. Any other ideas? Thanks again. Maddie "Billy" wrote in message ... "Xdudimus Maximus" wrote in message ... Good detrivore, cleans up bottom of tank.
