You can buy the SeaChem - Ammonia Alert device for less than =A38.
http://www.seachem.com/products/prod...oniaAlert.html I've seen it on sale in one UK web sites. Just ask if they stock SeaChem products. I've yet to see a cheap Nitrite device though. |

I agree a good monitor is the way to go. Calibrate and for a month or so
you get a digital display of the water parameter with no fuss. Be prepared to spend some cash though. And these do require maintenance calibration, cleaning, etc. I use the American Marine Pinpoint PH controller and I love it. pH is common but Nitrite, Nitrate, and Ammonia I have not seen. try some of these http://www.aquadyne.com/ http://www.americanmarineusa.com/ http://www.neptunesys.com/ http://www.aqua-medic.com/products/electronics.html --Paul "Gary" wrote in message . uk... I did find Phosphate, Nitrate, and Ammonia meters at this site but it
doesn't look like they are intended for the hobbyist. I guess it depends on how much you hate those test kits :-) http://www.abb.com/global/seitp/seit...8?OpenDocument --Paul "Gary" wrote in message . uk...
