Speaking of "Moral"

Apart from the fact that religious moral has only one purpose, which is
"group control", the general public has a very strange
interpretation of the concept of morality. The dictionary definition
reflects this confusion:

2. Teaching or exhibiting goodness or correctness of character and
behavior: a moral lesson.

moral victory; moral support.

or an event.

ed precept or general truth; a maxim.
3. morals Rules or habits of conduct, especially of sexual conduct,
with reference to standards of right and wrong: a person of loose

This is how contemporary moral works in the practice:

Everyone seem to agree that moral means rules of conduct. Fine!
Who determines these rules?
Most decide that anything one dislikes, distrusts or is unable to cope
with is very annoying and is likely to be amoral.
After sorting dislikes and prejudices one is ready then to start to
discriminate against everyone who does not agree. Sooner than later one
finds a group of people who for reasons of their own have the same set
of attitudes. Of course there must be some plausible authority found or
created to legalise and enforce such moral constructs. If one can not
find a religious group where conveniently a god provides that authority
than joining a political party will do just as well.
The best option is to join a political party that integrates religion.
Quite powerful and satisfies most moralist, see for example USA, Israel
and Iran.
One can refine the above formula: modern media is extremely efficient
to propagate morality. Control the media and you can enforce anything
you wish. Hitler knew that, Mr G. W. knows that and a well known
powerful media baron practices that.
Discrimination, witch hunt, imprisonment, torture, execution and plain
murder can be legal if sanctioned by moral rules.
Moral must triumph!
Torch the local abortion clinic!
Lynch your "pedophile" neighbour! No evidence? Who cares, he must be
one! You have never liked his face in the first place!
Innocent?
Oops!
At least he has died for a good moral cause!
