My first aquarium was 4ft*2ft*x2ft. My 10 year old son had asked for some goldfish and I said no! He secretly dag a monsterous holein the back yard and lined it with plastic. He then begged, borrowed and bought all kinds of goldfish from everywhere and filled it up with them. Heh, that's a cute story! I've put a 2ft tank on ordinary household furniture (with a piece of board under it) and that's been fine. As long as whatever the furniture is can hold my weight I think it's ok within reason. I built a cab for my 4ft though. As long as it's higher than the cat and sufficiently lidded that he can jump on and off without catching any fish, it's ok for my household ![]() -- Flash Wilson -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- "I'm an advocate of sex before marriage.
