That amount of current would work fine. You can partition off the middle
section of your sump with baffles to create an area where you can keep your
refugium

I have a 55 gal. FOWLR, and am looking at building a sump from a 10 gal.
tank I have. This is about as big as will fit under the stand I have. I
plan on using a Mag 7 for a return pump, which at 4' of head is 480 gph.

I would like to have a small refugium built into this, but would this be
too much current? Maybe just live rock in the sump?

Thanks,
Mark
