Default Expensive Java Moss + Goldfish = Goldfish

I finally broke down and bought the outrageously expensive Java Moss on a
Lava rock from the LFS. It's from Belgium you know. The Boys destroyed
about 1/3 of the plant overnight. They also pulled all the Java Fern out of
the pot I had it planted in temporarily. Time to see if the Betta would
appreciate a new plant.

LOL! Sorry, don't mean to laugh at the situation but I am sure your
betta will love to have the plant and he won't bother it a bit ; )

I once read that if you put something like blanched lettuce/spinach/whatever
on a veggie clip and make it a regular part of the goldfish diet they will
be more likely to leave your plants alone.

Don't know where I read it, maybe in this newsgroup... I was curious if
anyone found this to be true or not.
