Hi,

That is a beautiful tank, i've always wanted to an amazon looking
tank...what kind of plant is that big one? Are there any requirements
in terms of CO2?

I have to confess I am hopeless when it comes to the names of aquatic
plants - I really need to start researching them in the same way as I do the
ones that go in the garden....I'm also not sure which plant you mean - is it
the one behind the Gourami? I can find out what it is quite easily.....

I don't use CO2 although I know that there are lots of people on this ng
that do. The tank gets plenty of light (even without me turning on the tank
light), I occassionally put in plant food if I remember. The tank has a
reasonably high fish load so most of the nutrients come from them - nitrates
are usually around 5.

Hi Gill,

I only use ferrous liquid dung. No additional CO2, but in my tank there
are a lot of fishes.
