More light can help it.
Also, 6700K is better than 14000K. "RJAG" wrote in message ... a couple of months ago i bought a bunch of calerpa on a small piece of live rock and it doesnt seem to be growing any. i have it in the second chamber of my sump with a single powerglo 14000K tube running 24/7. i did a cutting and placed it in the main tank but my yellow tang made short work of that. i see others having to trim their calerpa because its growing like a weed and taking over the sump. I'm not so lucky. i have a RIO 1700 return pump so the water flow isnt too high on a 40G tank but i do have a Aqua medic SL1000 Multi skimmer in the sumps last chamber. other algae is flourishing so why isnt this?
