My somewhat informed opinion is that any chloramine that is "dumped" into
rivers which then flow into the ocean is diluted SO much that it becomes negligible to the fish. Also, although chloramines do not degrade as quickly as free chlorine, they do degrade and thus are not building up and up in the oceans. This is not true of some other chemicals, however. Steve T wrote in message oups.com... I've heard about chloramine in tap water, and that it is very hard to get out of the water, and that it kills fish, including salt water fish. Well, all that tap water runs into the oceans, which contain a lot of salt water fish. Does chloramine in ocean water naturally decompose? |
