Agreed. At my max of 10 tanks, I looked into an external, central air
pump. The noise, coupled with the air lines all over the place
convinced me to simply buy smaller pumps. Rena pumps are fairly
inexpensive, very quiet, and reliable, too.

Dolphin 5 Star air pump. It is running my 15 tanks all with sponge filters &
it is extremely quite.

Heh. I'd be concerned about an aquarium equipment seller that doesn't
know the difference between silicone and silicon. g
