![]() They will all be breakfest unless you take them out as soon as they hatch, and seperate them. If i'm not mistaken clownfish eggs hatch in 8 days. You will have to put them in something like a 20 gallon tank, and feed them cultured rotifers. Since you have other fish you will need to catch them as soon as the hatch. Let me know what happens. -- reefman MC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ reefman MC's Profile: http://www.reef-chat.com/forum/membe...tinfo&userid=7 View this thread: http://www.reef-chat.com/forum/showt...?threadid=7533 |

it is the 8th day on most accounts, and they hatch at night. they are also
attracted to the light so you can turn off pumps and the night they hatch use a bright light to attract them to the top of the tank and siphon them out, don't use a net it will kill them. sounds like a lot of trouble for a few clownfish, but to each his own ![]() kc "reefman MC" wrote in message ... If we all didn't want to do a lot of things others would consider a lot of
work, we would all have cats instead of marine reef and fish tanks. Thanks all for the advice. It sounds like this batch is going to be dicey...I will try to collect even a few on the 8th night and see what happens. As for next time, I am putting a clay pot in the corner of the tank near where they laid this batch of eggs and will see what happens.
