I don't think that is the cause, I have never use any foam under a glass
tank and have never had a leak. kc "Dinky" wrote in message ink.net... "Mort" wrote in message . .. I would advise that you try to determine the cause of the leak before you end up going through the whole proccess again.... I already determined it, just a few minutes after the post. I don't know how I did it, I've set up a dozen large tanks, and never forgot it before, but I forgot the foam underneath it. I don't know how I forgot, but I did. Dumb, dumb, dumb. b |

on an acrylic tank I do believe it is required to prevent pressure points
that cause cracks. kc "Dinky" wrote in message nk.net... "Pszemol" wrote in message ... "Dragon Slayer" wrote in message ... ![]() "Dinky" wrote in message nk.net... Got it empty and dried out, and I can't for the life of me find anything but pristine silicone on all joints. Thinking of slathering on some silicone anyway, and hope for the best. |
