That's sort of what I'd heard. Must make the hobby difficult.
With regard to the money, I do know what a dollar sign is
"possum" I can also recognise a Pound sign, something which does no longer

Possum? Is that good or bad?

My point, your newsreader and mine are apparently displaying the same
hex charaxter differently, which I find strange. Mine shows my
characters as dollar signs, as it does those from the OP.

The message from FISH2KEEP shows as a pound sign in my reader.

anyway, no problem, I just find it strange that the readers would do
that.
