HI.
My new marine tank is all set up. got all the stuff recommended. HUge
trickle filter, tons of corals, live rock, protein skimmer, bio balls and
all test kits to boot!

Now guys confusing me abt which fish to keep. Seems there are 2 type of fish
tanks. Aggressive and docile. If u start with one u cant shift to the other!

So which one do I start with? and which fish do I start with and
subsequently which ones can I add? seems i like some docile and some
toughies but will have to take a pick. any pros or cons to either?

Thanks a lot,
Ajay

Heh, I'd take this chart with a grain of salt.

I've got a maroon clown and a damsel together in my tank right, and
they're not very good friends. Previously there was another damsel in the
tank but the clown took him out (I think the damsel was goading him into
it tho).

I also have a monkey shrimp in there too and whenever he comes out of
hiding when the clown is awake the clown tries to eat him.

All of these animals the above chart says are fully compatible species. I
disagree.

The page does have a qualifying statement,
"Remember, no guarantees can be made about the compatibility or
incompatibility of any particular species of fish. Also, particular
species within a group of fish vary in temperament and may not
correspond with the guideline below."
