sure...xnews works for me, but needs some work on message threading and
read news history. just saw a usenet news server hosting ap that'll
handle 10k users. Of course I could just fire up virtual PC and run any
old windoze crap I need, but that would be a bit unfair to my poor old mac!

But on top of it, you would be extremally odd running Windows soft on Mac
instead of just using Windows PC :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

p.s. Aren't we "slightly" off-topic with this TV-Mac thread here? :-)

oddly enough...you're right!
oops, I've been frequenting some other usenet sites too much that thrive
on off topic banter.
I'll slink away with my tail between my legs now...

Pshaw. I, too, enjoy some non-USENET news servers ( my favorite,
Winextra, see my sig) that don't flame anyone who goes OT. I call it
normal human interaction, myself. I find this refreshing. IMO, if
someone doesn't like the OT thread, they should stop bloody reading
it!! bg

I don't mind. Just change the subject to "This Only Concerns Two of Us"
(-;
