I looked into this as well when I started out last year, and I found
that most fishkeeping books are rather out of date, at least ones
that you would find in a library. Marine fishkeeping in particular
has made some major advances in the last couple years. One of the
books said that UG filters were the only way to ensure success in a
marine tank. g
