No Problem Joe,
Actually, I am not a member to any clubs as of yet. I am new to sal****er and have been doing a lot of research. I had thrown that link in my favorites so it just happened to be handy when I read your post. For Stores, the only two that have really impressed me with their SW selection have been Scott's Pet Shop in Westchester and Barrier Reef Aquatics in Chicago (Archer and Lockwood) however, BFA's prices are pretty high... THere's also another good one called Tropicana on Archer and Rockwell. I was in there once for some African Cichlids. The guy told me they were mainly in to salt water and I havent been back there since. HTH ~Mort "Joe V." wrote in message ... (Apologies to the public reply, but was unable to reply to Mort privately) Thanks for the information, Mort. Just curious - are you a member of the Chicagoland society (or any of the others)? Also, any advice on what stores you prefer? I recently went to Living Seas in Park Ridge, and really liked the place. I was thinking of buying my live sand/rock from there ... Joe, I was recently looking for a marine club in the chicago area also. You may find this link of interest... http://www.aquasite.com/community/club/il.shtml HTH ~Mort |
