Default trying to identify a Cnidarium from Thailand

I encountered this stranded creature on a beach in Thailand. Can
someone please help me identify it? I searched the Web but haven't
found anything resembling this.

Default trying to identify a Cnidarium from Thailand

Looks like a type of soft coral that stays partly buried
in the soft mud in deeper waters.
