Moving reef and the like...

Ok sorry. Bascially I am worried about my tank cycling when I move it
and was basically was asking if I only have 1 fish in the tank if the
cycling will not be as bad. I just do not want to lose any of my
corals, I finally have a green star polyp colony that is getting huge.

You can indeed scrape of coralline in one tank and drop the chips in
another tank. You'll seed the tank that way.

Good decision on the UGF. I had one for years, but once I pulled it out
the tank took a major turn for the better.

I just moved my 75G. I had everythiong down a week (7 days). It was a short
move but after a day or two I was sure I would get live rock die off.. I had
the live rock in 5G buckets of waterstagnant for 7 days. I even went as far
to do a 100% water change except for some 20G that was in the sump. Bottom
line is the tank did NOT recycle. It was all fine.
