put female bettas in tank

How many do you have? I always had pretty good luck with groups of five or
six - it's a large enough school that each is too worried about the fish
just above her in the hierarchy to pay much attention to the one just
below. If they are sisters that were never separated you can run a
considerably larger group with surprisingly little fuss if you have a big
enough tank. If not it will probably take a day or so for them to sort
things out and hopefully no one will be seriously injured in the process.
However, I've never had much luck adding a single female to an
already-established school - they generally haze her to death in that
case.

I have 10 female's all together...9 new ones, I had 1 all ready, I took her
out of the tank and completely remodeled the tank so she would not be
getting snippy thinking they were coming in to her house,
Put *lots* of plants in the tank for cover, some rocks, which they seem to
enjoy. They are in a 40 Gl long, I seen some females while out today and
wanted to get them, but I realized that the day I put them in there that
would be it, otherwise fighting would brake out again.
They fought the first day, I kept the light out for two days and only turned
it on to feed them for 15 minutes at a time, after that they all started to
get a long good, I love sitting and watching them, I took time to put this
tank together, I usually end up putting one together when I find something
at the lfs and I have to hurry up, but I wanted this to work so over two
weeks I did it, ordered the fish and had to wait so I was happy to finally
get this together, now its neat to watch them interact with each other.
Its a pretty tank to have

I'm glad your girls worked things out. But all bettas can be aggressive. It just depends on how you set them up together. It sounds like you did a good job providing them with hiding spots, and putting them in at the same time. That way, no one feels like they've been invaded.

From every thing i read (which was a little to much) i was looking forward
to at least a week of fighting and was suprised with in a day or two they
were all getting a long fine, I really do love that tank, i dont know why i
guess just the way they interact with one another, neat to watch.
