Default malachite green ich

Nikki wrote,
however in all the pages I read I noticed malachite green treats ich,
and fungus.....

Typical anti-parasite medication such as Rid-Ich or QuickCure contains
malachite green for fungus, to stop secondary infections within the
holes through the skin, caused by the parasite. They also contain
formaldehyde, which kills the parasites.

how high of a temp can female bettas deal with, i have it on 81 now but i
think as far as heat killing ich it has to be at least 85-89 right?

The ich parasite can not tolerate temps. above 85º. Raise the temp to
86º for a week. The parasite can not tolerate salt eather. Salt can be
used as a medication without raising the temp. Treatment - two
teaspoons salt per gal. - treat 13 days............ Frank
