I know this may be a little off-topic but I thought I was going to lose a
dear friend about 15 year ago to cat-scratch fever. She became so ill she
was finally hospitalized. Another woman I knew in Nashville got a lung
disease (histoplasmosis) from birds....... we must remember that animals,
birds and fish can and do carry diseases that we can catch - and be careful.
