Default Another PC retrofit question

The kit I have did not come with an on/off switch. It was supposed to, but
it didn't. Since I am going to have this unit attached to a timer, do I
neccessarily have to have a switch?

If I go to the hardware store and get a switch, will most any appropriately
sized toggle switch work?

Thanks,
Mark

I'm with Steve here, I don't have switches on any of my retro kits. I
use timers.
