Hi,

for the last couple of weeks I fail to find fish-related discussions
amongst all the troll posts by fools, who feel that religious issues
need to be discussed not only in an inappropriate group, but also in a
totally inappropriate language.

I don't see any religious discussions here, just the same profanity and
personal attacks by Roy using the Koi-Lo (and other people's) Nym.
Everyone turned against him because of these disgusting messages so he
decided to destroy this group and all the aquarium groups using "Koi-Lo"
as his excuse. It's not easy to get groups moderated I was told.

I am tired of this nonsense, and probably many others are as well. Since
the pot-heads show no intention to leave on their own, we need to kick
them out. So I move that this group should be moderated, and any
non-related posts should be cleansed from the feed.

What do you think?

Engelbert

Join their new "lightly moderated" group where you should be spared the
profanity and other nonsense.......

Due to users beyond our control, a group of regulars from
rec.aquaria.freshwater.misc created and moved to:
'The Freshwater Aquarium'.

This is a 'lightly' moderated group, by members who volunteer to act as its
managers. They watch for, and delete any posts which are SPAM, grossly
inappropriate, or of an antisocial behaviour as has been seen in the Usenet
groups lately.

We also have members and managers from alt.aquaria,
alt.aquaria.tropical.fish.hobbist, rec.aquaria.freshwater.plants and
rec.ponds.

This group is open to anyone (new or old to the hobby) interested in
discussions regarding freshwater animals (fish, shrimps, snails etc), plants
and the operation of their set-ups (lighting, filters etc). The Google
interface is a little different, but the company is great.
