Yes it could frighten the fish, though fish are capable of
getting used to it. Wayne Sallee Wayne's Pets J.M. Hendrix wrote on 6/29/2006 9:09 PM: would loud music effect the fish if the tank waS in the same room a band sometimes jam? okay or will it frighten the fish too much? |

A friend of mine used to maintain a tank in a bar. The tank was setup beside the stage. They would have live bands every 2 weeks. Within a week of a live band, all the fish would be dead. Now I think you could do a reef tank without the fish, but I'm not sure. Kim |

I was a reefer and audiophile for over 35 years. I ran SPL levels up to 110-120 db's,
sometimes for hours and never lost a thing -- Boomer If You See Me Running You Better Catch-Up Former US Army Bomb Technician (EOD) Member; IABTI, NATEODA, WEODF, ISEE & IPS Want to talk chemistry ? Should be okay - unless you play stuff like Jimmie Hendrix.
