Default Foxface Diet

I just put a foxface in an established 90 gal. reef tank. He's too shy to
come around at feeding time & seems to be content grazing on bubble algae.

Will he stay healthy enough on just bubble algae?

Default Foxface Diet

I bought a Foxface a few months ago and initially he wouldn't eat. I tried
everything and still he wouldn't eat. I did some research, Foxface like to
graze. I place dried seaweed attached it to a small clip, and place it in
the tank just about everyday. I also feed him mysis and brine shrimp. He
does fine on this. Give him time to adjust to his new home, and I'm sure
he'll do fine.

Default Foxface Diet

It takes some time for them to get used to the new place,
but after they get used to it they are quite active
grazers. They also often enjoy polyps. They eat algae
better than any other fish. They like their greens. They
also like green starfish :-)
