Any other suggestions of how I can control this vigorous
piece of coral? THANKS

I found it is very hard to do...
I tied to scub it carefully with a wooden toothpick.
But for this you need to get the rock out of water.

p.s. where do you live? I would like to get some Xenia :-))

Anyone north of San Francisco who would like some Xenia can send me an
email. I have plenty and would love to trade for just about anything
barring that, I'd be happy to give it away.

Do you think I could mix up a solution of kalkwasser and water and
directly spray it on the small pieces that are trying to take hold to
kill it.

I had some Aptasia and did this and it worked GREAT
Maybe hot water ? Joe's Juice ?

Any thoughts before I attempt ? The piece I want to stop is still very
small but difficult to reach with my hand.Removing the rock is probably
not doable

Thanks

I've had luck tearing it from the rock with a hemostat. If you are
careful and do it slowly you can do it without leaving any tissue behind
that will keep growing.
