![]() "Lior T" wrote in message ... Hi, as it turns out the air pump using the filter is quite noisy. i need COMPLETE silence orelse i cant get a good night sleep. The guy from the store said if i wanted a quite one, i should go with rena air pump - are they "TOTAL QUITE" ? and how good are they in terms of endurment ? (yeh yeh) thanks LT The linear piston pump designs are wonderful new technology. Trouble is they are expensive and are made really for more than just one outlet. Here is a link to a 15 outlet one they say "Can be next to your Bed....." http://www.jehmco.com/PRODUCTS_/HARD...watt_pump.html I bought many of the Profile brand diaphragm pumps model 9500 at Petco a few years ago. 5 out of 6 of them are not noticeable. One is and always was. One thought....Put the airpump in a closet or another room and run some airline. Its not ideal to make long runs as it adds a lot of back pressure......but who cares. |
