I have been keeping gouramis for many years and they are great fish.
They do well in a group or by themselves. They will not bother other species and add charm to the tank with there activity. They tend to keep to the top of the tank for the most part but will forage on the bottom for food. I have several species of gouramis in my tank with danios, angels etc. Good luck and keep us posted on the 29 gallon tank and its tankmates. Vicki |
