Crown Royal not bad, but I prefer tequila.
I rigged up a contraption, basically a feeding box at the top of the water with a trap door that I will pull shut. I'll let the fish get used to it first and then during one feeding slam the door behind them. Trap / feeding ring combo...it came to me in a dream one night after a few tequilas. Built it, Just haven't done it yet. Oh yeah, the 6 line wrasse didn't make it, in fact I don't even know where it is.... I got a great clean up crew.... You say that, but then again, if you did you wouldn't have ended up in
this predicament or with dead fish on your hands... TheRock wrote: ....now there's a thought that hasn't crossed my mind. wrote in message ups.com... Please research fish before adding them to your aquarium. |

Thank you for the wonderful advise. I will be sure to
think things like this through in the future. I am so ashamed. wrote in message ups.com... No Need to be ashamed Mr. Rock, its a learning experience, not all of us
deserve to belong to MENSA, we will make mistakes along the way, the idea is to learn from them before the Super Genius's of the world show us how dumb we really are. He absolutely should be ashamed. It's not about being smart. These
are living animals and you should consider the environment you are going to put them in before you bring them home. This is one hobby where impulse buying can be a real detriment. Would you buy a pet pet mouse to put in the same cage as a python? Alrighty then, I see I need to add one more comment to this conversation.
Apparently you are the only one not picking up on my sarcasm. I've kept a marine FO tank for about 4 years and I'm into this reef thing now for 2. By no mean does that make me an expert nor do I care to be, however, I do understand the whole concept of researching a purchase. I purposely bought these fish and now I don't want them anymore. Simple as that. Yes it is true that I did not understand the true level of craziness the Pseudochromis would bring to the tank, however he has been fine with my mix. It's just time for Mr. $4 to move out. If you would like I can stick him in a white envelope lick a stamp and mail him to you when he's out. Otherwise I'll take it to the LFS and give it away. I AM ashamed I have to explain this to you, but I care, just a little. A pet mouse in a python cage...HEY THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN...THANKS !!! wrote in message ups.com... Hello Rock, The reality is though that no matter how much reading / research etc. you do on a particular fish / invert., they are individuals, and while most of a species may conform to a perception of anticipated behaviour, there will always be an individual that behaves totally differently, and create mayhem when least expected. I suppose it adds to the enjoyment. Regards, Fishnut. |

Pseudochromis usually aren't too bad, but I happened to get the one that happens to be the most agressive .. I built a cool fish trap. Feeding time is fun. Unfortunatley fun for my Angle, clowns and blue green chromis. The bad boys aren't going near it yet... It's like they know something is in store for them. |

1 week and they're crowding the trap at dinner time.
I'm just waiting for the opportune time to shut the door behind them. Oh the Pseudo still has not entered. I wonder what he is eating ?!?! "TheRock" wrote in message news:4L73h.569$Ue.198@trndny03... OK I have 2 yellow Damsels and a Pseudochromis (the yellow one with the purple stripe going down the middle, nasty fish) I HATE these fish. I bought a fish trap, the canning jar one on ebay...caught me some snails I want to literally kill these fish, I've tried the feeding thing with the net. What else is there ?!?! Can they be blinded by a laser pointer ? Do they make little harpoon guns? How about if I lace some food with poison. I actually am about a week away from taking everything out and then putting it all back in minus 3 fish. Oh god that poor 6 line wrasse I just dropped in there today ! Any suggestions ? Chris |
