Stores need to make money so they can be there in the first place. Most
don't view our fishies as sentient beings like they would of dogs & cats.
Never heard of anyone flushing their St Bernard down the toilet, when they
got bored of it. When you really think about it, fish keeping isn't a very
expensive hobby.
