Do you have some soft corals like toadstool Sarcophyton coral ? They react unhealthy to poisoning with aluminium ions... Yes 2 Sarcophyton frags. I wonder how are your corals doing today, after couple of days since first dose of Phosphate Control... Any signs of change in looks/behaviour? My yellow polyps closed up for about 1-1/2 days. They are back to normal now. It may be because they were in direct stream when I was adding this stuff. But everything else is fine. 2 Sarcophyton Ton of Zoanthus ...Yellow, green, blue, brown Starburst Polyp Goniopora - Almost 1 year old (nice pink with purple mouths) Candy Cane Ricordea Mushrooms Red Mushrooms blastomussa merletti Clavularia Glove Polyps And a few misc Acropora I believe the culprit for the High Phosphates to begin with is the water I have been adding. I'm about 5 months overdue in changing my RO/DI filters and media. |
