Default tin foil barb alone?

Do Tin foil bards need other TF barbs with them ? or would on be ok In

a tank with other fish ?

Why are you asking us? We are not fish ;~) Seriously though, it's a
question which is difficult to answer. The worst choice is to have them
alone. The 2nd worst is to have them with completely different fish
(bottom feeders, slow fish, little fish etc). It's better to have them
with fish of similar design (ie: Silver dollars, Pacus etc). The best
(IMO) is to have them in a school of TF (ie: 4 to 8), but who is to say
that one TF would be unhappy in a large tank with a bunch of very
different fish it grew up with, not me. I think if you have provided a
size appropriate environment, provide an appropriate diet, and provide
them with stimulus (which large fish need more of), then everything else
is pure speculation.
