man does post here take long r something?

I have a 92 gal corner bow front, just added live rock and have temp
bulbs in my strip hood.
What do I need for new lights?
I was looking at this one
Current USA Sunpod 36" 300w Halide & Lunar System
I don't like the price I never paid more than 100 for a strip so little
sticker shock but if this light is was I should be aiming towards than
I will buy

also this tank has been up and running for 1 year, but had artifical
rockwork in it.
Water is great. How long to wait to add new animals?

I am still real new to this game so my animals I will pick will be easy
care.
I also purchased the red sea wavemaker with 1 each of
1200,600,400,maxi-jets powerheads
placement Ideas for this pie shape tank??

Join the club. I shelled out $829 for 2x250 MH & blue actinic light
strip. I found this place had the best prices and free shipping.

http://www.aquarium-supply.biz/

I'm still waiting for delivery expected on Thurs, so YMMV. They also
had decent prices for chillers, pumps, etc., so I may be a repeat
customer if this transaction goes smoothly.

Be careful of hood space. My hood only had 4.5" of space, so it limited
my choices dramatically.

Ever thought of doing the DIY lighting route if canopy is on your tank?

I`ve done it in all my tanks and went with DIYreef.com for all my parts.
Dual 250MHs and dual actinics on my 90 and spent way less than a
pre-manufactured light

I have a 29, 65 and 90 reef and did the lighting on all with DIY parts and
saved $$$ in the process. I do have canopies over all my tanks though and
that can make the difference between DIY and premade

Depending on what you're putting in the tank should determine what your
lighting needs are. If you plan on adding corals then yes you will need MH
and Blue atinic, but if you plan on just live rock, then a Corallife
Trichromatic and Blue atinic will do just fine. Figure out what you're doing
with you tank, then buy what you need.

if water is great
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
then I'd begin adding away
smallest wooziest ones first
let them get established
then add the aggro ones
