Yep, outside filters are much quicker, and it gives the user more
time to trash usenet groups. Getting to the crud is also much easier.
Afdterall some folks like crud (porn) like Carols husband others like
crud and detrius like Carol does. Sure would br bad to hinder access
to the stuff.......after all Carol knows it all and carol knows best.

I have a 10gal tank and have been using a mini filter for many years
now - the type that hangs on the side of the tank. It needs to be
changed and I am wondering about changing to an underwater filter.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Or suggestions etc.?
I am putting a few platies into the tank.

It's just my opinion but why keep the crud *IN* the tank and give up
space
in the tank for a filter? I use the outside filters on all my tanks.
They're also easier to reach to clean and take up no space in the
tank.

I forgot more about ponds and koi than I'll ever know!
