My anemones have given up glass climbing for the moment, but I was planning to use fiber or similar w/ rubber bands. I haven't found a sponge that would work that well accept that some powerheads come with extended uptakes to house the sponge. This might reduce suction enough to avoid anemone death. My ritteri finally found a perch with a lot of flow. I would never have guessed that they would like that much current, but he's stayed put within 48 hrs of adding new power heads. --Kurt I have a large LTA in a 20 gal tank for over 6 years. I hate to move it to a bigger tank because it's done so well in there over the years. It's growing pretty close to the powerhead and sometimes knocks off the sponge. Maybe I'll try turning it upside down. Thanks. ???? |
