My wife was athletic all her youth and excelled in everything she did
(She's
now 37), being the best or 2nd best on every team she ever played on.
When
I met her at age 25, she could do 150 situps and 10 men pushups (30
women's
pushups) and she wasn't even muscular or bulky in anyway. Granted, most
women don't pursue sports much and therefore are really weak throughout
their lives but that could be changed IF they wanted it. She attended
(for
awhile) the Women's hospital fitness center and could leg press the
maxium
on the exercise center.

Sounds like the typical jock, And there are girl and boy jocks. :-)

I guess you could call her a girl jock. She was beautiful, tall, sleek
(still is at 37) but surely can't do the same psychially as back then. She
actually fought a short weak man who tried to rape her in a stairwell while
attending college and walked away fairly physically unscathed, winded and
some bruises but nothing broken. However, something like that never really
leaves a person.

I always laugh when goombas talk about equality between the genders and
ALWAYS bring up our greater physical strength as proof of "inequality."
We
can't bear children. Does that make us un-equal to women or not
deserving
of social or legal equality?

Indeed. The real point here is whether or not women should have to
BE men to play sports. The answer is a resounding 'no'.

Ironically, all these goombas

"goombas" LMAO!!!
How old are you judy?

that whine about men and women not being equal

are like children who can think only in the physical plane. It's NOT about
the physical. It's about social and legal equality. Even children know
that there are differences (and thus, in a sense, inequalities) between the
genders... - Hide quoted text -
