Default swatted flies

I have a problem with flies in my house this summer. I have a swatter, so
when i kill or capture a fly, I throw it onto the surface of the tank, and
my green trigger or my lionfish or my betta eat it. They seem to like flies.
I don'tr believe the many germs a fly carries are dangerous to a fish, but
who knows. Mike.
