Hm.., Kurt I guess talked about his favourite (free) OS but not about PCs or
Macs - or Hamsters.. ;-)

Yes, I am.

You are watching too many Apple commercials on TV and your
opinion about pc/windows is skewed and distorted ;-)

Yea Hamster gives added flexibility. Since it was
loosely translated into English, it took me a while
to figure out how to get it working.

This new tagging setup on Thunderbird is working
very well. Here is a little bit more info on the
tagging setup.

In order to control tagging color priorities, go to
tools, options, advanced, config editor, type in
"tags", and you will see that it uses $label as it's
default naming, and then gives it a value, and if
you create a label, it uses that name, and gives it
the same value, and if you rename it, it has the
original name and gives it the new value.

It puts the tags in color priority by using the
alphabetical order of the original names.

So what I did was to go to tools, options, display,
new, and created the following tags:

$label6
$label7
$label8
$label9
$label91
$label92
$label93
$label94
$label95
$label96
$label97
$label98
$label99

Only I just now realized that I goofed up and
spelled it "$lable". :-) But it still worked.

Then click ok to close out the settings window.

Then go back to tools, options, display, and edit
the first one ($label6), and rename it to the tag
that you want to take color priority. I named it
"Troll List", then I renamed the second one, "Clean
List", and then renamed the 3rd one "Trash List.
That way the color priority is in that order.

Then for the filters, I run them in the same order,
Troll List, Clean List, Trash List, so that they tag
in that order as well.

Try Wayne Sallee's ass or yuou may be able to get Mitch Brennan aka
Big Habeeb to get you a connection through his employer Pfizer's
internet access. Odds are though he may not hold on to that job once
they read my letters and see some posts he made that I sent
them.........A good job is a trerrible thing to waste on such bull****
as usenet wars huh Mitch?
