If you went to the dictionary, and looked it up, it might be in there as "saur-" lizard in the dictionary whenever there is a word with a hyphen after it, that means it is a prefix if the hyphen comes before the word, it is a suffix then in crosswords, they make clues saying either suffix for or prefix for that is just the way it is she finished vet school right? Never used a dictionary before, or never noticed it before. It's very common for biological and zoological type word fragments in the dictionary.
