You don't use a plastic barrel for storage?

I didn't want to mention it as I was wishing you success, but I found the same thing with a grey angel I treated for pop-eye. I'm not sure what actually killed him, but I suspect that it was either: * pop-eye went necrotic, so the antibiotics helped but it was hopeless. * the absence of a a bio filter was deadly * a bloom after the antibiotics were removed proved deadly. I also changed 20% of the water daily and used anti-ammonia chems in QT (before adding the daily dose of anti-biotic). I thought it was abundantly cautious, but to no avail. Sorry. --Kurt |
