They have devastated my copepod population by constantly digging in the sand. My neighbor took my daughter to the beach and they came back with a children's sand bucket full of hermits. I think I started with over a hundred, and I'm down to a more comfortable 30-40 now. I'm having serious nutrient issues from my DSB, so I'd like to get a detrivore population going again. I think the hermits may need to go. --Kurt |
