It's used most often to ship fish because there is no or limited
biological filtration in a plastic bag. However, I'd be reluctant to
use it in an aquarium although this website says the results are harmless.

I don't think I have this brand, but I have a similar product around
that I used when I was treating a gray angel with antibiotics. I also
did a 40% water change daily before dosing with the antibiotics and the
ammonia control.
