Goldfish are fine at lower temps in the winter. If your water temp
drops below 60-55 degrees cut way back on feeding them and they will be fine. After all many goldfish live outside in ponds year round. I don't use heaters in any of my tanks and they are just fine. Stable temps are more important than the degrees. You don't want it to vary more than a few degrees. |
