Default Where is everybody?

Hey, have anyone tried to light their tank with solar light?

Not only will save money but be beneficial.

Any comments?

TIA

Huge upfront cost. Possibly less expensive over a long time, but there isn't
much long-term experience with it to be sure.

There's a guy in Portugual with a outside solar reef tank. You'll have
to search around on http://www.reefcentral.com/ forums to find his thread.

I've thought of it myself. I've seen a couple of designs that use a
mylar light tube to direct light into the reef. Seems reasonable but it
would take some modifications to your house.
