Silicon Valley Aquarium Society Meeting This Saturday, June 7th

This month we have a great speaker, Bob Fenner. He has been a fish
enthusiast his entire life. He has written several books and is a
major contributor to WetWebMedia. He specializes in sal****er
fishkeeping and conservation. He has planned a wonderful talk for us
titled "3 Factors That Contribute to Fish Health". I understand that
he will have several other talks available as well and we might even
get to vote on a different topic. That would be a first for our club!

Speaking of voting. It's that time again. We have several spots on our
Board of Directors up for election this month. If you would like to
run for office, see anyone currently on the board and get your name
added to the list.

It's also membership renewal month. Membership renewal is $12 for
individuals and $18 for a family. You can bring a check to the
meeting or you can use our new, handy, dandy PayPal payment system.
We urge you to try PayPal and avoid the line at the membership table.
Simply go to our main website: svas.info and click on the "How do I
Join?" link on the left side of the screen. Then, scroll down to the
bottom of the page and click on membership renewal. You'll be asked
to enter your payment information and that's all. You'll get your
membership card at the next meeting. Can't get much simpler than that.

I hope to see you all this Saturday evening. As always the meeting
will be at the Round Table Pizza at 4400 Stevens Creek Blvd. in San
Jose. Our speaker will start at 7:30. Come early to socialize, check-
in for the Bowl Show and auction, and order food. Elections, auction,
and raffle will follow our speaker.

This month our bowl show topic is Plecos. I hope to see some real
beauties, too.
